This West Hollywood pool house started as a crumbling garage behind an original 1930s Spanish Colonial home. We tore it down and rebuilt on the exact same footprint. The only addition was height, which gave us room for a dramatic coved ceiling that makes the space feel far larger than it is.

The main house set the rules. Every proportion, curve, and material was chosen so the new structure would read as part of the original property rather than an afterthought at the back of the garden. Curves carry through every detail, from the arches to the custom millwork, and the custom walnut-and-marble bar became the project's hotel lobby moment: a place to pour a drink, linger, and stay a while.

What was once a forgotten outbuilding is now a destination of its own, a place for long afternoons by the pool and evenings that run late. Featured in Domino.

A cozy bedroom with a bed featuring pink pillows, a wooden headboard, a bedside table with a marble top, a lamp, and a vase with pink and green flowers. There is a small window with a brown woven shade, and a white door with a gold handle.
